ArtistSABRINA RATTÉ (QC-CA)
Co-presented by the Society for Arts and Technology, with the media support of NewHive
The result of a hybrid creative process, Sabrina Ratté’s work explores ambiguous narratives revealing abstract spaces – both dynamic and transitional – created through the friction between analogue and digital. Her recent audiovisual installation Escales looks at this encounter, and the resulting electric energy generates immersive architectures through which the spectator is faced with constantly changing synthetic landscapes with soundtrack by compositor Roger Tellier-Craig.
Sabrina Ratté is a Montreal based visual artist, mainly working in the field of video. Her work explores architectural environments and virtual landscapes generated by electronic signals and manipulated digitally.
