Lost in Space is an exhibition that puts the spectator at the centre of explorations in space and time, real or suggested. Nébuleuses urbaines (Quévillon) – which grew out of the interactive device Dérive – are spatial representations made up of particles that trace meteorological and astronomical fluctuations. Alien Perception (Dufaux) uses a space capturing system: both a “vision machine” and a projection system, the installation shows what it sees, visitors included. With Spectrale (Jarry), the space comes to life by constantly creating modular arrangements suspended in space and time. Finally, Jedi Action Drawing (Lagrange Paquet) is a space of action where the movements of a light sabre (Wiimote), handled by a spectator, are transcribed, or drawn, in real time on a screen.
